Conceiving Miracles is a powerful documentary exploring the emotional and complex journey of fertility through a lens of hope, science, and holistic care.
Created by Dr. Jennifer Mercier, a pioneer in women’s health and fertility, the film brings together leading voices in reproductive medicine — including an OB/Gyn trained in NaProTechnology, a traditional IVF specialist, BirthFit chiropractors, and experienced Mercier Therapy providers.
Through deeply personal stories, the film follows couples navigating infertility, heartbreak, healing, and transformation while uncovering what it truly takes to prepare the body for conception.
-
Rather than choosing between natural or medical approaches, Conceiving Miracles bridges the gap between both worlds — highlighting the importance of pelvic health, hormone optimization, nervous system regulation, and the body’s innate ability to heal.
With expert insight and raw emotional storytelling, the documentary invites viewers to rethink fertility and feel empowered with knowledge, options, and renewed hope.

FAQs
What inspired you to create Conceiving Miracles? After spending more than two decades walking alongside couples through infertility, I’ve witnessed the emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual toll this journey can take. My first documentary opened an important conversation, but I knew there was more to say. Conceiving Miracles was created to give voice to the real stories behind infertility—the heartbreak, the resilience, the unanswered questions, and the hope that still remains.
How is Conceiving Miracles different from your first documentary? This film goes deeper. While my first documentary introduced Mercier Therapy and the fertility journey, Conceiving Miracles broadens the conversation significantly. It includes perspectives from conventional reproductive medicine, restorative fertility approaches, integrative care providers, and, most importantly, couples who have lived this experience. It’s less about one modality and more about the entire fertility landscape—and what patients deserve to know.
What do you hope viewers take away from this film?I want viewers to feel informed, empowered, and hopeful. Fertility care can be overwhelming, expensive, and at times incredibly isolating. My hope is that this documentary helps people ask better questions, understand their options more fully, and realize that their journey deserves individualized, thoughtful care—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Does the film challenge conventional fertility treatment? After spending more than two decades walking alongside couples through infertility, I’ve witnessed the emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual toll this journey can take. My first documentary opened an important conversation, but I knew there was more to say. Conceiving Miracles was created to give voice to the real stories behind infertility—the heartbreak, the resilience, the unanswered questions, and the hope that still remains.
Why the title Conceiving Miracles?Because fertility journeys often require extraordinary perseverance, faith, science, and support. “Miracle” doesn’t necessarily mean effortless conception—it represents the deeply human hope that persists even through loss, disappointment, and uncertainty. This film is about honoring that hope.
